Buckmore Park Scout Campsite covers 142 acres of woodland with cleared areas suitable for camping and other activities for youth organisations and not for profit groups. We have two heated buildings. We offer a range of activities including mountain biking, air rifle shooting, archery and caving.

A Wynne Brooks Lodge - Overnight
Wynne-Brooks Lodge offers a main hall, kitchen, toilet and two bedrooms, both with a bunk bed. Wynne-Brooks Lodge is centrally heated. Available for 24hr (from 4pm), day or evening bookings.
Activity - Air Rifles with equipment and instructor
Air rifle shooting. Our air rifle range is roughly a 15 minute walk from our main entrance so please allow plenty of time to get to the range.
Activity - Archery with equipment and instructor
Archery on our outdoor range. Our archery range is roughly a 15 minute walk from our main entrance so please allow plenty of time to get to the range.
Activity - Camp Fire Circle
We do not charge for use of our camp fire circle but it does need to be booked for use.

Activity - Caving with crew
Use of our extensive man made caving system with an instructor.
Activity - Mountain Biking with Guide
We have 10 mountain bikes to explore our 142 acre campsite with tracks and trails through beautiful woodland including some exciting single track.
Activity - Orienteering with crew
Orienteering can be self lead with maps available on our website or with one of our crew using our 142 acre campsite.
All campsites and Ingle Nook
For very large camps, groups can book exclusive use of the campsite. Included in the price is camping on all the sites and use of Ingle Nook. Wynne-Brooks Lodge is not included. Activities can be added at the normal rate.
Building - Ingle Nook - Overnight
Inglenook offers a large multipurpose hall, kitchen, toilet and shower room and two small side rooms. Inglenook has central heating for year round use. Available for 24 hrs (from 4pm), evenings or days.

Day Visit
We do not allocate specific campsites for day visits but there is plenty of space onsite for visiting groups. Enjoy the open spaces and woodland for a wide range of activities. Our formal activities are also available to be booked! Day visits can run from 9am to 10pm.
