Visit local Lifeboat or Inshore Rescue Station

Resources

Ensure you have adult ratios for the visit and all have completed One Day Activity forms with In-Touch procedures in place.
Have fall back activities, as if the crew get a call out they may not be available or have to leave before you are finished.
Advise Cubs and parents if the station has a small shop open at time of visit selling souvenirs so Cubs can bring small amount of money if they so wish.

Instructions

Arrange with Local Lifeboat or Inshore Rescue Station to visit. The lifeboat crew can show the kids round the station and gear, also explaining Water Safety.
