Roller skating at funkys on wednesday night cost £3 per cub

roller skates; relatively smooth flat area; optional ramp, hockey sticks, pucks, etc

Instructions

Get the roller blades on the beavers and then give them 5-10 minutes to get used to them, giving tips on how to balance, stop and turn.

Once they've got the hang of it some short relays before working up to either playing hockey (sticks stay on ground, no swiping them around) or even 'jumps' from the ramp (with a non-roller bladed adult on either side to guide/catch the beavers).
