A Team Relay Game than can be adapted for lots of themes. This theme is why we have october holidays ( Tattie(Potato) Holidays) - historically a lot of people were needed to go and harvest the potatoes so people got holidays form their normal work to go and help in the fields

Resources

6 markers (small cones) and 6 balls and 1 basket per team. 6 people in a team.

Instructions

Each team has a line of the markers (cones) spaced out in front of them and a ball in each cone(these are the tatties). And a basket at the end of cones.
The first team member runs to the first cone takes out the tattie and then runs and puts the tattie in the basket and then runs back to the team.
The second team member runs to the second cone takes out the tattie and then runs and puts the tattie in the basket and then runs back to the team and so on until there are no tatties left in the cones.
The tatties then need replanted for the next harvest so it is done in reverse the team member runs to the basket and takes a tattie and then places on the last cone and runs back to the team, this is repeated until there are no tatties left in the basket. The first team with all their tatties replanted and sitting neatly wins the relay game
