Simple biscuit truffles
â— 175g chocolate
â— 50g softened butter
â— 100g digestive biscuits
â— 50g icing sugar
Bowl, Spoon, Microwave or Bain Marie, Plastic Bag, Rolling Pin, Petit Four cases,
Start by crushing 100g of digestive biscuits. The best way to do this is to put them into a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to bash them up.
Next melt 175g of chocolate (bain marie or in a microwave)
To the chocolate you need to add 50g of softened butter, 50g of icing sugar and the crushed biscuits.
Give it all a good mix!
Add Any extras like sprinkles and hundreds and thousands
Then leave it to chill for 10 minutes.
Take about a teaspoon of the mixture and roll it into a truffle shape.
Roll it in your hands or on a chopping board.
Finally, put the truffle in a paper truffle case.
The mixture should make about 16 truffles.
