Grow a Bean to study the effects of sunlight and gravity

Resources

Beans to plant
plastic cups or glass jars (should be at least translucent)
paper towel
water

Instructions

Line the plastic cup with paper towel, and make the towel wet (by putting water into the bottom of the cup).
position the seed beans between the paper and the wall of the cup.
Send the cubs home with the cup (ask them to keep the paper wet, and keep it in sunlight)
They can also turn the bean around once it starts sprouting to study the effect of gravity
Ask them to make a drawing of it every couple of days
