Use this simple activity to help Cubs understand how to set up map

Resources

* Route map x 1 per Cub

Instructions

1. Set out nine cones as shown on the map.
2. Give each Cub a copy of the route map. Explain that they should make sure that the map is always the same way round as they cones on the floor - this means that they will need to turn it in order to make sure it is set,
3. One by one let the Cubs try out the route and check they keep their map set correctly.
