Description
Teach Cubs how to keep food in the fridge
Resources
pages 5 and 6 of cub chef activity pack (laminated) enough for working in groups of 3/4
Instructions
1. give each group a copy of the fridge and the food cut outs ask them to put them in the fridge on shelves they think they should go on
2. go through each in turn and ask for why they've put food items where they have
3. discuss correct places to put food
note - chicken, fish and ham should be on bottom shelf so can't drip on other foods; bread doesn't need to be in the fridge just needs to be kept somewhere cool and dry
