Description

Create a scale map showing the distance of the planets from the sun.

Resources

Tape measure, paper, colours.

Instructions

Cubs draw pictures of the different planets and the Sun. (They don't need to draw all of them themselves.)
They then measure the distances between the planets (using a set scale) and stick them out at these distances.
This gives the Cubs an idea of how far apart the planets are in space.
