Cooking shortbread biscuits


Resources

Ingredients:
150g plain flour
100g butter
50g caster sugar
(makes 15 biscuits)

Equipment:
Mixing bowls
Rolling pins
Shape cutters (optional - can just use a dinner knife)
Forks (optional)
Oven

Instructions

1. preheat oven to 150°C (Gas Mark 3)
2. put butter and flour in bowl and rub together to make breadcrumbs
3. add sugar and squeeze together to make into dough
4. roll out to 1-2cm thick and cut out shapes
5. prick the tops with a fork
6. bake for 15-20 mins
