Scouts give a weather forecast

Scouts have learnt about weather fronts and isobars and pressure systems over previous meetings. Map of UK, paper, pens, scissors, blue tack, weather pressure maps (download from met office website)

Instructions

Patrols given samples of Met Office Weather symbols (attached) and a weather pressure map. They discuss and work out forecast and make relevant symbols. As a patrol they then give the weather forecast to the rest of the troop in front of the UK map as if on TV using weather symbols, blue tack etc.
