A game to be played in a dark area

Instructions

Ask the cubs to take off their shoes and put them in a pile in the middle of the hall (make sure the shoes are labelled if they are the same style). Send them out of the room, and the leaders hide/spread about the shoes around the room. Turn off the lights and let the cubs in. They need to find their pair of shoes. Spoil their night vision by flashing on the light or a torch.

Alternatively, play as a relay race where each team send one player in to find their shoes, put them on, tie their laces and run back. First team to all be back with laces/velcro done wins.
