Activities to make Young People aware of challenges that some people face every day.
We ran this activity as we had a beaver start who is bound to a wheel chair. We also have a helper who has a scooter so we were able to use that for the obstacle course.

Resources

Crutches, Wheel Chair, Electric Scooter etc

Instructions

4 Bases
1) Negotiate obstacle course in the Scooter - collect an item from up high.
2) Crutches - Practice using crutches.
3) Wheelchair - Use the wheel chair around the obstacle course.
4) Collect objects while blindfolded. YP to be in pairs, one has to direct the other.
