Description

Take part in a number of athletic activities and attempt to improve own performance.

Resources

stop watches, tape measures, equipment specific to the activities offered (ideally 5), record sheets, pencils, cold drinks

Instructions

Each leader/ adult helper supervises a different event and give out specific safety advice. Scouts select the event they wish to try and record own progress. Scout led warm up and warm down activities to start and finish evening and share details of athletic clubs and activities they have accessed. Team event could be held at the end or on another occasion.
