Description

A memory game

Resources

15 - 20 small objects, a tray and a cloth to cover tray. Paper and pens/pencils.

Instructions

The standard Kim's Game, a memory observation game, is to place some objects on a tray, for younger members name each item. Let the Scouts see them for 1 minute (adjust to experience), cover the tray, then ask them to write what they remember - a fuller description gains extra points. Can be played in lodges/sixes/patrols or individually.

Can be a good way to reinforce learning on first aid items, map reading, flags etc.

We played in with multi faith artifacts and learnt about the faiths and the objects.
