Make an animal mask (monkey, tiger, lion, owl, bunny)
Printed templates of masks (see attached)
Each child is given a printed template of the mask, they then colour this in and then cut it out (taking care when cutting out the eyes).
with a leaders help they put a piece of sellotape over the side holes(where the elastic shall go) and then punch a hole in here using the hole punch.
the thin elastic is tied from one hole to the other (the sellotape ensures that the holes do not rip when the elastic is ties on). If you want to use this for your Beavers Global Challenge badge, then they can make their own masks of endangered animals using card or paper plates, as part of a wider conservation theme.
