Instructions

Rules:
- Let each lodge/six/troop/group of leaders etc. write all the things they find makes the section meetings difficult on a large sheet of paper, giving them no more than 5 minutes. For younger children give each group a leader as scribe, for older children let then nominate a scribe for take turn.
- Once this is complete talk about the things written on there and how those things could be changed creating these statements into rules, making sure that NO isn't used (it focuses on the wrong rather than helping them know what they should do.
*GOOD* Everybody must be quiet when leaders are talking.
*BAD* NO talking when the leaders are talking.

Responsibilities:
- Let each lodge/six/troop/group of leaders etc. write all the responsibilities they have during a meeting, giving them no more than 5 minutes. For younger children give each group a leader as scribe, for older children let then nominate a scribe for take turn.
- Once this is complete talk about the things written on there and why it is important for us to have responsibilities etc.

FOLLOW UP
After the meeting create an attractive poster with the rules and responsibilities, which is then displayed at each meeting. Refer back to the Colony/Pack/Troop Charter when need to remind the children of what is expected and their responsibilities: e.g. the cubs are talking during grand howl, leaders can remind pack that they need to be quite when leaders are talking, linking back to the charter.
