Talk through:
- what have Cubs grown in the past?
- what did the plants need? (water, sunlight, warmth, nutrition from soil)
- different plants need different conditions to prompt them to germinate & grow
- hyacinths need 10 weeks in a cool, dark place in moist (not damp) compost
- once they start shooting they need a warm sunny spot away from drafts
Talk through instructions for planting and labelling per attached document.
Send them home with the instruction sheet so they can look after them over time.
