Instructions

Explain about the recent consultation on the changing of the UK Scout Promise to a version that is encompassing of those without an avowed faith. Explore options such as changing to one unifying promise such as that implemented by GirlGuiding UK or the addition of a further variant of the standard UK Scout Promise and the issues that may arise from either solution. Ask the Scouts to split into groups to prepare arguments for one side and against the other (5-10mins) to debate once the troop is brought back together.
