Instructions

All players form a circle. 2 players start the game. One is a lion; the other is an antelope. Both players get blindfolded, put in the middle of the circle and spun around. The rest of the circle now chant 'Lion, Lion, Lion'. The closer the Lion gets to the antelope the quicker everyone chants and the further away the slower. Set a time limit of 1 minute for the lion to catch the antelope. This game originated in South Africa by the Zulus and is designed to give the young person an understanding of being 'pursued' much like a refugee or member of a minority group.
