Stories about children and behaviour

Copy of The Works by Paul Cookson

Young people should be sat quietly ready to listen. You may want to provide a rug to sit on or some cushions or chairs, allow room for sitting or laying around, whichever position the Beaver Scouts find easiest to listen in . Explain that when listening to a story they sometimes they need to be as still and quiet as they can or they will miss parts or disturb others but this time there are some special places for them to join in! Explain that the story you are going to tell has a meaning and you will talk about it after the story is over. Read a story of your choice.
