Scouts Own - *Scout Leader to read passage by Baden-Powell and seek feedback
*Scouts to prepare their own thoughts on what Scouting means to them, either individually or as a group / patrol
*Scouts to read out their own thoughts, erse, prayer etc

Activity - All scouts to have a piece of rope and stand in circle. Tie the end of the rope to the next persons rope with square knot creating a rope ring – All scouts lean backwards and let the rope support their weight. Scout Leader “ You are now part of a group of close friends, held together by a square Knot, the symbol of helping others”
“All say the scout promise together”
