Beaver Scouts make Beaver Tails

Resources

Card (preferably brown)
Drawing pencils
Beaver Tail Template
Black and Brown colouring pencils / crayons pens
Scissors

Instructions

Prepare a Beaver Tail Template, or a few, in advance
Have a few Beaver pictures (including the tail) ready to show the Beaver Scouts
Beavers draw around the template, colour in the tail an cut it out
This could then be used to write the Beaver promise on the reverse or the Leaders Beaver names, or anything else topical for example an interesting fact about Beaver Animals or their habitat, or even the Swimming Up verse 'I swim up the river and over a Dam, no longer a Beaver, but a Cub, I am'
