Description

Rucsac/Daysack preparation.
8 Mile hike round lake. Six hours duration with four incident bases.

Resources

Each Scout will be required to carry a day sack with basic equipment including waterproofs, emergency and 1st aid kits, 1 pair of spare socks, a packed lunch and drinks (min 1 litre of water/squash each). They should wear good comfortable footwear too.

Instructions

Scouts should bring to the next meeting a small rucksack, waterproofs, a small 1st aid kit, spare socks, an empty lunch box and two water containers. Plus any other kit they genuinely think they need. We will be going through rucksac and daysack prep for the walk. If they bring the shoes they plan on walking with it would be helpful.
