Get baking with this easy microwavable cake in a mug.

Chocolate Cake Recipe
2 tbsp SR flour (not heaped or level – but in between)
2 tbsp caster sugar
1 tbsp cocoa
1 small egg
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp sunflower oil
few chocolate buttons

Pumpkin Cake Recipe
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil, or canola
2 tablespoons light brown sugar, granulated sugar works too
2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree, NOT pumpkin pie filling
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour (31.25 g)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, see substitution in the notes
1 tablespoon milk, non-dairy milk works too

Top with ice cream or whipped cream

Instructions

Mix the dry ingredients together in a microwaveable mug with a spoon.
Add the egg and mix
Add the milk and sunflower oil, mix and finally the buttons.
Put in microwave for 1min 30sec

DO NOT GIVE TO YOUNG PEOPLE STRAIGHT AWAY AS IT IS EXTREMELY HOT!
