Energetic indoor game
Tape or chalk to divide up the playing area
Paper and pen to keep score
Divide the hall into as many 'slices' as there are teams or patrols. Use masking tape, chalk or similar for this.
Allocate each team to a section of the playing area.
Allocate an adult or young leader to each slice of the hall to keep score.
Explain that when the game starts, players must keep the ball out of their zone.
They will score a negative point for each time the ball touches the floor in their zone.
When the leader in charge blows the whistle, play stops.
The leader asks the scorer for each zone to announce the current score for 'their' team
Repeat for as many rounds as necessary
Announce final score.
