Ball

Instructions

Divide troop into four teams (one for each corner of the hall).

(You could also have three teams arranged in a triangle, or five teams in a hexagonal arrangement, etc etc)

Give each patrol a corner of the hall and a table turned on its side to stand behind

Patrol members number off.

Ball is placed in centre of hall.

Leader in charge calls a number.

Scouts with that number come out from behind table and attempt to gain a point by scoring goal in one of the other three corners whilst defending their own.

Leader can call out more than one number

When a goal is scored, players return behind the bench and await next number.

Two options for scoring:
a) Winning team is the one that's scored the most goals
OR
b) Winning team is the one that's had the least goals scored against it (i.e. best defenders)
