Description

Issue a small group of between 4 and 6 members with a 1 meter length of genuine 7 strand 550 paracord and challenge the groups to deploy the flag from at least 15 meters away from the flag pole (measurements based on a flag pole 8 feet high).

Resources

1 length of para cord per group. Genuine 7 strand paracord will make a 22 meter cord from a 1 meter length.

Instructions

Split the paracord into 7 strands and the outer sleeve = 8 meters minus knots. Split each strand into 3 = total of 22 meters including outer sleeve. join the cords using a fishermans knot. Tie the cord close to the flag on the deploying rope. Team work makes parting the strands easier and rushing it will cause knots.
