A Christmas game, ideal for a Christmas party

Resources

Stockings (one per team), spoons, wrapped sweets in a bowl

Instructions

A relay race, similar to egg and spoon. Split children into teams and give each team a stocking and a spoon. Put the bowl of sweets at the other side of the room. Beavers have to take it in turns to carry a sweet on the spoon and put it in the stocking. Either play until one team fills their stocking or set a time limit and the winner is the the team with the most sweets in their stocking
