Throwing game about Good Turns
Ball of wool
Arrange the unit in a circle (yes, leaders take part too!), a leader starts by saying a good turn she has done that day (or week), holds the loose end of the wool and throws it to someone. She then holds the length, says a good turn and throws on. Once everyone has a bit of wool and a 'web' has been created, the leader tells the girls that the web represents how their promise links them to Girl Guides and Girls Scouts the world over. For Rainbows/Brownies, sit in a circle and roll a ball of wool...avoids missed catches and the ball of wool ending up out of reach!
