ARE YOU READY TO EXPLORE BROWNSEA ISLAND?
Brownsea is an Island of history. This is where Scouting started, nearly one hundred years ago. In the first experimental camp, Robert Baden-Powell mixed
together boys from diverse backgrounds. During their eight days together, they learnt to survive in the wild, and how to live by a code of honour.

Linda, the Challenge 100 co-ordinator, has gone on an expedition to Brownsea Island, visiting the original Scout Campsite. Unfortunately she has got lost on
her journey across the Island. Using the route card in the main Challenge 100 ‘Challenge Pack’ and the clues on the following pages, retrace and record
Linda’s route.

Once the route card has been completed you should have an estimate of the total time taken for the journey. Enter this into your ‘Challenge Scorecard’.
