Learning star constellations by creating them using marshmallows and sticks

Resources

Marshmallows, skewers, cocktail sticks, dark blue card.

Instructions

Give each child a piece of dark blue card to be their sky. Give them pictures of a couple of star constellations showing the positions of the stars. They use the marshmallows to be the stars and hold them in place using the skewers and cocktail sticks to make the constellations on their card. Then they get to eat their stars!
