Description

Scout will work in there patrols.
Each scout will be given an item that is needed for the bake.
The idea is that they have to swap/share items for their bake.
Communicate with each other.
Weigh the items needed and share out skills between them.
Each patrol will manage time to swap/weigh 10mins, mixing 30mins, bake 20 -25 mins and cleaning up time 20 mins

Resources

muffin recipe, bowls, sieve, spoons, bun tray, grater, scales, muffin cases, fork.

Instructions

Chocolate & Marshmallow Muffins

400g plain flour
115g caster sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
115g Stork packet, melted
1 egg, medium
200ml semi skimmed milk
175g Chocolate chips
55g mini marshmallows

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
2. Sift the flour and baking powder into a large mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
3. Spoon the mixture into 12 muffin tins lined with paper cases
4. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes.

Cranberries muffins

400g plain flour
115g caster sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
115g Stork packet, melted
1 egg, medium
200ml semi skimmed milk
125g cranberries

1. Mix together dry ingredients and add cranberries.
2. Combine Stork, egg and milk and stir lightly into dry mix.

3. Spoon into muffin cases in tins and bake in preheated oven 200°C, for 20 minutes.

Apple and Banana Muffins
400g plain flour
115g caster sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
115g Stork packet, melted
1 egg, medium
200ml semi skimmed milk
1 apple grated
1 banana mashed

1. Mix together dry ingredients and add grated apple and mashed banana.
2. Combine Stork, egg and milk and stir lightly into dry mix.

3. Spoon into muffin cases in tins and bake in preheated oven 200°C, for 20 minutes.
