Introduction
This is a great way to start the Pow Wow and bring all of your Brownies together. A Pow Wow can be used by Leaders to tell the Brownies about upcoming activities, events or whatever you choose.

Instructions
First teach ‘Come to the Pow Wow’ to all of the Brownies.

Every word creates a different beat – like a whistle signal.

Get the Brownies to tap out the beat on the floor:

short short short short long
short short short short long
long long long

Then add the words:
COME TO THE POW WOW
COME TO THE POW WOW
COME - COME - COME

There are different ways to start this chant:
· A Leader can start the chant and the Brownies can create an echo by doing it a second time or joining in
· A Six can start the chant and do it once and then all the other Brownies do it a second time i.e. they echo it
