Instructions

Introduction
Learn how to follow tracking signs in the outdoors

Instructions
Show the Brownies the signs – each group should have a page with the tracking signs on it.

Two Leaders should go ahead and mark out the trail for the Brownies to follow.

Then let the Brownies go in groups (i.e. Sixes) with a gap of 5 minutes between each group/Six.

A Leader at the rear can pick up or return stones and grass to the way it was before the trail was laid. (Leave no Trace.)

Depending on the age/ability there can be stations along the trail where they could do challenges e.g. 5 jumping jacks or 3 sit ups.
