Learn what taking responsibility means

- Petals (8)
- Small paper plates
- Craft sticks
- Green construction paper
- Glue
- Pencils/crayons/markers
- Scissors

This activity will teach your Brownies how to be responsible and that it involves.
- Being dependable and accountable for your actions and words
- Doing your best and never blaming others for your mistakes
- Making sure that a job you are responsible for is done correctly and on time

For each Brownie you need 8 petals and a small paper plate as their flower’s centre
In the centre of the paper plate draw two eyes a nose and for the smile get the Brownies to write “I am responsible”

On each petal get the Brownies to write an activity that shows they are responsible:
- Pick up my toys, feed my pet, load the dishwasher, clean my room, make my bed etc.
- Glue the petals to the paper plate
- Glue the craft stick to the plate as the flower stem
- Glue the green leaves made of construction paper to the stem
- The Brownies can now take their flower home to remind them of the activities they need to complete to show responsibility
