household items with where they are from marked on them e.g. games, dvds, plate, mug, tablecloth, towel, book, clothes, shoes

Holiday souviners and gifts that have been brought back from foreign lands.

World map and sticky dots.

Instructions

Have a the cubs identify in turn where an item is from and then find the country on the map.

Spend a few minutes talking about the item they brought in and how they got it.

At the end discuss how far afield items are made and shipped around the world and the economics of this
