Junk (plastic bottles, pringles tubes, cardboard boxes, etc)
Glue or glue guns
String
Paint
Felt Tip Pens

Instructions

A week before ask the Cubs to research things that can be made out of junk. Pinterest is a great source of ideas. Examples of things that can be made are bird feeders, pen holders, lampshades, greenhouses, cloches for growing seeds, mobile phone holder.
Task the Cubs with designing their idea and then making it. This can either be individual or in sixes, depending on the size of thing they want to create.
