Take an old t-shirt and turn it into a pretty and handy little tote bag. Recycled accessory for a fashion show.

Resources

Old t-shirt, scissors. Optional for precision ruler/measuring tape, bowl, pen, markers for decoration.

Instructions

Using an old t-shirt, cut off the sleeves and the hem. Use a bowl as a template and place at neck to cut around. Keeping t-shirt straight make incisions at "hem". Approx 5cm wide and 10cm long. (We didn't use rulers or measuring tape, we guessed using finger widths). Take the top and back strip and knot together. Double knot for security. You now have a nice little bag that can be decorated as desired with fabric/permanent markers. Useful little Guide bag for first aid kit, notebook, pen, torch etc
