Quick game suitable for all ages - a spatially restricted tag game.

Rope attached to ceiling
Circle drawn on floor

Instructions

Tie the rope to the ceiling, and a child onto the end of the rope (!!!). The rope should be long enough so the child can walk around, effectively in a circle.

Draw a circle just out of reach of the child - do this all beforehand.

Then, to play the game, tie one player, the spider, onto the rope (bowline etc), and all other players must be standing within the circle.

The "spider" must then tag all the players - once tagged, they move out of the circle. Last player surviving becomes the next spider.
