Description

A relay game between two teams. Each team is given a shape and race to move their shape from one point to the other. The team with the most points wins. Taken from the Anchors Activity Programme pack.

Resources

2x Cardboard shapes (Stars, Hearts, Owls, Cats, any reasonable shape can be used)
2x Chairs

Minimum of 4 boys

Instructions

Boys sit in two teams facing each other. Each team has a star.

Place chairs as indicated on the attached plan.

Number the boys as indicated on the attached plan.

Call out a number. The boy from each team whose number has been called gets up, picks up the shape off their chair, places it on the other chair and sits down.

The first to sit down scores a point for their team.
