Instructions

Some children only rinse their hands quickly under water. Hands should be scrubbed with antibacterial soap for at least 20 seconds.

• Sprinkle glitter on each Ladybird’s hands.
• Challenge them to wash off the glitter with the soap and water.
• The glitter is naturally sticky and will take Ladybird about 30 seconds to clean the glitter away or as long as it takes to sing “Happy Birthday”.
• Tell the Ladybirds that germs can stick to your hands like the glitter, so we should always take this amount of time and scrubbing to ensure “clean” hands.
