Description

The girls put together two puzzles of items that they should or should not bring to camp.

Resources

2 sets of Puzzle Pieces - printed with pictures of different items.
The puzzles should be identical, but with different pictures, so that when put together one is the 'Take' list and the other is 'Leave at Home'.

Instructions

Mix up the puzzle pieces and have the girls discuss which items they should take to camp and which they should leave behind.
For older girls, have a more complex puzzle with more items.
Try to include pictures which will be relevant for your unit, for example make-up may be more appropriate for Guides/Rangers than Pippins/Brownies.
For younger girls, include a Teddy Bear on the 'Take' puzzle, then discuss that they should only bring one small soft toy.
