Beavers hunt around hall for pictures of easter eggs. Some Eggs have christian pictures on back to discuss the christian easter message when all back after hunt.

Print easter egg and Christian pictures, cut out and stick christian pictures on back of some of the easter egg pictures.

Instructions

Stick easter egg picture around meeting venue. Send off Beavers to hunt and return with pictures. Sit down and leader explains the Christian belief of Easter as follows asking bevares to hold up picture if its on the back of their egg for all to see -
In the begining there was God (picture of GOD letters) and God created everything in the whole world (picture of earth in Gods hands), including Adam & Eve (picture of Adam & Eve). Adam and Eve disobeyed God and brought sin (picture of word SIN) into the world. Sin separates us from God, but God loves us so much (picture of words God loves you) that he wants us back as his friends. God sent Jesus to live and die for us on the cross (picture of 3 crosses). and so Jesus was crucified, buried in a tomb and everyone thought that was the end of the story. But on Easter Sunday morning, Jesus rose from the dead (picture of Jesus coming out of tomb). He was alive again. Jesus died for us so that we could have our sins forgiven (picture of words your sins are forgiven) & be part of Gods family and be happy (picture of smiley face) because of what Jesus did that first Easter.
