Ask the beavers if they know what flags are and why we have them?
Then explain why-

why do countries have flags?
Flags show that we belong to a community, organisation or nation and that we share beliefs, goals, rules and regulations
flags are a national symbols, every country has got a specific flag as their national symbol
first flag flown in the 18th century to tell others that we own a piece of land and we rule over the people and land

Tell them some fun facts-

Germany has 25000 castle
Zugspitze- highest mountain in Germany

Iceland has more than 20 active volcanoes largest is called Vatnajokull
you can spot the northern lights between November and March (show them a video)
