Make and race sail boats in guttering

Resources

Polystyrene, kebab sticks, argos cataloge for sail, guttering and water, spoons, pens

Instructions

Give each child the same size block of polystyrene (small enough to fit through guttering!) one kebab stick, one page of argos cataloge and a pen. Draw on polystyrene where to hollow out with spoon. Thread paper through kebab stick and put upright in boat to make sail. Fill guttering with water, put boat in and blow behind boat in to race!
