Discussion about the make up of the bible. The old and new testament history, prophets, knowledge in the old testament and gospels and letters in the new testament, How to look up a verse or reading.

Resources

A bible for each person (We used Gideon's free bibles that the boys took home with them).

Instructions

A selection of well known verses were used, These were written on individual strips of paper and each member of the group took one. They all search at the same time and read them out in turn, Some of the readings may be discussed at this point, whichever is most relevant to the group or season and age group.
The content can be as simple or involved as you see fit to reflect the level of understanding and age of the group.
