Description

Young People have to work together to work around the maze by giving instructions (Algorithms) to each other.

Resources

A way of marking the floor temporarily (Tape, Chalk etc.)
A worksheet with a simple maze on
A Necker

Instructions

Mark out the maze on the floor. The squares should roughly be 50x50-100x100 cm
Split the Young People into pairs

Give each pair a copy of the map worksheet. Give the pairs 15-20 mins to make a system of Instructions (Algorithms) to make their way round the maze.

Example Instructions:
Forward 1 Step
Left 90 Degrees

After the allotted time, one young person needs to guide the other round the maze, using the Algorithms they created. The person in the maze needs to be blindfolded with their necker.
