Instructions

Introduction

The flag is emerald green representing Ireland with the gold trefoil of the Irish Girl Guides in the centre.
Explain to the Brownies that the Trefoil has a Celtic knot superimposed on it to symbolise unending friendship.

A copy of the flag for colouring is available see attached file or can be printed directly from IGG website: www.irishgirlguides.ie/images/documents/flagcolour.pdf
• You could make a large copy of the flag with a sheet of green cardboard and cut out yellow cardboard for the trefoil
• Borrow a flag, if one is available, from a local Guide Company. Seeing is believing!
