Print the handouts (attached) for the number taking part. Split (butterfly) pins for each

Instructions

Assemble the compass in 3 parts. There are descriptions of the useful components for taking bearings. Use a known North point in your locale to teach how the compass would show you where to go. Time given assumes these are pre-cut
